The official ROS Legacy Discord is reached through the vanity invite discord.gg/roslegacy, the server that carries the operator's announcement, FAQ and information channels. Use Discord for server notices, support context and player discussion, then verify client files against the operator's dated link list rather than against a message attachment. This page records the routes that answered on September 22, 2026 and how to tell a first-party post from a copy.
01Use the publisher-owned route
The official server answers at discord.gg/roslegacy, a vanity invite that Discord only grants to servers with a high boost level and that resolves to a server named ROS: Legacy with about 60,000 members on September 22, 2026. The operator's own information channel inside that server publishes a dated link list: the official site roslegacy.net, the account portal mirae-labs.com, the Windows installer host and the Android package host dl.roslegacy.net. The September 20 revision still named dl.mythgames.net for Windows; since September 25 the site's Download for PC button uses dl.roslegacy.net/full and the Myth Games route returns HTTP 404. The invite once displayed on the Myth Games Discord directory stopped resolving on September 21, so a page or video that still points there is describing an earlier state.
The game-specific Facebook destination uses the ROSLegacyOfficial page name. Company-wide Myth Games profiles may discuss several projects, so check the account name, original post date and destination before applying a company announcement to ROS Legacy. Public social pages can require a login or hide older posts; an inaccessible repost cannot support a current release or download claim by itself.
The operator link list, not any single web page, is the controlling access source today. Together with the site's own buttons it points to roslegacy.net as the official site, mirae-labs.com for accounts, dl.roslegacy.net/full for the Windows installer and dl.roslegacy.net/android/apk for the Android package. Discord can explain maintenance and community context; those four addresses establish the public client.
02Verify the ROS Legacy Discord server
A Discord server can copy a name, icon and channel layout, so the server appearance is not the proof. Enter through the vanity invite discord.gg/roslegacy or the Discord link on roslegacy.net. After joining, check the server name, member context and announcement channels before treating a poster as staff. A matching avatar or display name can be copied, and Discord usernames can change.
Use announcement channels for broad service notices and support channels for account or launcher problems. Preserve the message link, time, error text and launcher version when requesting help. Do not post passwords, email verification codes, device identifiers or private account recovery information in a public channel. Staff can ask for diagnostic context without needing a wallet seed phrase or another game's credentials.
Disable unsolicited server-member direct messages if you only need public announcements. A tester-selection message, free-item offer or urgent download sent privately should be compared with a public staff post and the official game site. If the same instruction is absent from those surfaces, stop and report the account through Discord's own tools and the server's moderation route.
03Separate Discord news from the official download
The public Windows client is distributed through the stable route dl.roslegacy.net/full, the target of the Download for PC button on roslegacy.net. On September 27, 2026 that route redirected to an 8.25GB ZIP built September 25; the older Myth Games route dl.mythgames.net/rosl/full, which served the previous 8.32GB package, now returns HTTP 404. A Discord announcement can point players to the same route, but an attachment, drive link, shortened URL or alternative installer is not equivalent. The Android build has its own operator route at dl.roslegacy.net/android/apk. Check any replacement against the operator's dated link list before running it.
Pre-registration closed on August 16, 2026; roslegacy.net now presents Download for PC, Download for Mobile and Register Now, has labelled the stage Open Beta since September 25 and links the same Discord server. Community posts about alpha, closed beta or tester registration may refer to an earlier or limited session. Read the original date and named stage. Do not pay an individual for access, provide a security code to reserve a slot or assume that a creator's alternative-download video is an official mirror.
Maintenance can make a genuine launcher or server temporarily unavailable. A service outage does not make a third-party file safer. Check whether staff posted a dated maintenance notice, retry the stable endpoint later and keep the exact error. If the official route changes, this page will update the source link.
04What community channels can and cannot confirm
Discord and Facebook can confirm that a message was posted by an account or role on a particular date. They can supply maintenance windows, event details, support procedures and links back to the official site. Record the original message URL or channel and avoid using a cropped screenshot when the live post is accessible. A forwarded message loses the role and channel context needed to judge it.
Community discussion cannot by itself establish a permanent release date, platform, region, weapon statistic or map database. The official game brief captured on August 15, 2026 provides 100 players, squads of one to four, seven named combat zones and Aegis Anti-Cheat, and roslegacy.net still advertises 100 players. Other details seen in creator videos or player messages remain dated observations until the current build or a first-party document makes them reproducible.
The latest monitored creator video is titled The Truth About the ROS Legacy Discord Server and was published September 12. It remains a community source even though its subject is the server. This page uses the operator's vanity invite and dated link list as the authority for where to join, then keeps creator commentary available in the media feed with its title and date attached.
